Paris Love Match

Paris Love Match
 3 of 5 stars false 1/2
Getting a taxi in Paris can be hell.
Piers Chapman expected a boring business trip to Paris.
What he didn't expect was to fight over a cab with a beautiful girl.
After a bad meeting, Sidney Roux just wanted to hail a cab, go home, and have a glass of wine.
She didn't expect to fight over a cab with some pompous British tourist.
Neither of them expected another man to jump in their cab.
Or to be involved in a gun fight.
Or a car chase through the streets of Paris.
Or for the man to die.
But they're thrust together when the mob demands they return what the dead man stole.
Will Piers and Sidney work together?
Will they find what he had stolen?
Will they stay alive?
And will they do the last thing they expected?
Will they fall in love?

Review

****This book was part of a blog tour I received a copy for my honest review****
This book starts out with seeing the pov of a few different people then we see Piers and Sidney both trying to get a taxi, from there thing take off and become fast paced and hectic. Piers and Sidney are thrown together running from mobsters and trying to stay alive. This book was fast paced, humorous and highly entertaining. Piers is a huge geek, not buff or strong so he is not your normal hero type male. I liked his character except for the fact that he was so weak willed, he just gave into Sidney for most of the book. Sidney I had problems with her character, they are running for their lives and she was more concerned about her appearance than anything else. She was constantly disrespecting Piers and taking him for granted, so the romance angle of the book didn't really play out well for me. Other than those few problems I liked the book, the action and humor through out the book more than made up for the lack of heat in the romance. If you’re looking for an action book with humor for a good price this definitely a book to add to your reading list.

Too Sexy For His Stetson

Too Sexy for His Stetson
 4 of 5 stars false
Anguished over his father's lack of morals, Deputy Blade Beringer struggles to conquer self-doubts. When he and his K9 partner Rambo arrive in the mountains of northern Idaho, Blade is faced with a band of white supremacists, a homicide investigation, and a murder cold case, not to mention the task of training a gorgeous blond rookie.
Trainee Brandy Wilcox is bent on clearing her mother's name of a wrongful murder conviction. While working the homicide investigation with her sexy new training officer, she discovers a connection between the victim and her mother's case. The two deputies struggle to resist their mutual attraction and abide by the no-fraternizing rules, but passion blazes and teeters on the brink of love. With a killer targeting them and danger lurking at every turn, Brandy doubts their love can blossom, especially when she puts Officer Skip Coogan—Blade's best friend and father figure—at the top of her suspect list.

Review

****This book was part of a blog tour I received a copy for my honest review****
Brandy is a recent trainee and stumbles upon a guy breaking into a cabin, she is by herself her cell phone is dead and she is in the middle of nowhere, so she does what any other deputy in training would do, she orders the sexy guy in the Stetson strip at gunpoint, just so he can't get away of course. That's were everything starts going wrong, all the sudden some men show up and start shooting at Brandy and this stranger and the two of them are running for their lives. Once they get away Brandy learns the guy she ordered to strip is her FTO Blade, the two of them start a working together. Trying to ignore their attraction to each other the two of them have to figure out a way to bring down a racist group, but Brandy and Blade both have secrets. Brandy is trying to prove her mother is innocent in the process she will take down Skip Coogan, Blades hero and Blade he still lives with the guilt of what his biological father did. Too Sexy For His Stetson had me hooked from the very beginning; I loved the sexual tension/frustration between Brandy and Blade it made for some uncomfortable and at times funny moments. There was a lot of action, a little bit of suspense and some mystery throw in just to keep you guessing a little. Brandy was a great female main character, she was strong, but had some insecurities that balance things out. Blade was sexy as hell, he worked hard to get away from his "father" and make something of himself. Every time I thought I had things figured out, there was something little that would happen and I would start having doubts. This book was a great read, something every romance reader should pick up when their looking for something a little bit different.
